Hembree Window Cleaning Safety Policy
At Hembree Window Cleaning, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our team and the public. Our safety measures include stringent protocols and equipment to maintain a secure work environment.
1. Employee Certifications
All employees must hold the required certifications for window cleaning and ladder safety. Proof of these certifications must be provided and kept up-to-date to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Equipment Maintenance
All cleaning equipment, including ladders, harnesses, and squeegees, must be inspected regularly to ensure they are in good working condition. Faulty or damaged equipment must be reported immediately and taken out of service until repaired or replaced.
3. Safety Training
All employees must complete mandatory safety training before starting work. Refresher courses will be provided periodically to ensure all team members are up-to-date with the latest safety practices and emergency procedures.
4. Emergency Procedures
Emergency procedures must be reviewed and understood by all employees. This includes knowledge of first aid, fire evacuation plans, and protocols for reporting accidents or injuries.
5. Accident Reporting
All accidents, no matter how minor, must be reported to a supervisor immediately. An accident report form must be completed and submitted to the office within 24 hours of the incident.
6. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Proper PPE must be worn at all times while on site. This includes safety goggles, gloves, and any other equipment as specified for particular tasks. Employees should check their PPE before use and report any damage immediately.
